<DIV STYLE="text-align:Left;"><DIV><DIV><P><SPAN>The ICA catchment boundaries were derived from the NSW River Basins spatial layer stored within the Corporate Enterprise Database (EDBP) layer, ADMIN.NSWCatchments\NSWRiverBasins. This dataset was adapted from the Australian River Basins 1997 spatial layer published by Geoscience Australia. (Australian River Basins 1997 was the result of a joint State and Commonwealth project to create a national spatial database of major hydrologic basins used in the assessment of water resources. The data was derived from topographic maps at scales ranging from 1:10 000 to 1:250 000.)</SPAN></P><P><SPAN>Please note that some Irrigated Crop Areas assigned to a catchment may fall outside its mapped boundary. This can occur where properties located near catchment boundaries extract water from rivers within the catchment (e.g. along the Barwon–Darling River), resulting in irrigated areas being associated with the hydrologic catchment despite lying outside its spatial extent.</SPAN></P></DIV></DIV></DIV>
