<DIV STYLE="text-align:Left;font-size:12pt"><DIV><DIV><P><SPAN>The NSW </SPAN><SPAN>State Water Quality Assessment and Monitoring Program is a state-wide program to collect, analyse and report water quality in NSW rivers. It has operated since 2007 and collects data from ~140 sites across 13 different regions on a monthly basis.</SPAN></P><P><SPAN>SWAMP collects water quality data to:</SPAN></P><P><SPAN>• assess ambient river water quality in terms of electrical conductivity, temperature, turbidity, total suspended solids, pH, dissolved oxygen, phosphorus and nitrogen at selected sites across NSW</SPAN></P><P><SPAN>• provide high quality, long term, statistically robust data to enable river condition and trend reporting</SPAN></P><P><SPAN>• provide data to enable measures of compliance with state and national guidelines and standards, and</SPAN></P><P><SPAN>• provide a framework of state-wide river water quality monitoring across NSW upon which other programs can build</SPAN></P><P><SPAN>For more information please see </SPAN><A href="https://datasets.seed.nsw.gov.au/dataset/state-water-quality-assessment-and-monitoring-project_swamp" STYLE="text-decoration:underline;"><SPAN>State Water Quality Assessment and Monitoring Project (SWAMP) | Dataset | SEED</SPAN></A></P><P><SPAN /></P></DIV></DIV></DIV> |
