Description: The NSW State Water Quality Assessment and Monitoring Program is a state-wide program to collect, analyse and report water quality in NSW rivers. It has operated since 2007 and collects data from ~140 sites across 13 different regions on a monthly basis.SWAMP collects water quality data to:• assess ambient river water quality in terms of electrical conductivity, temperature, turbidity, total suspended solids, pH, dissolved oxygen, phosphorus and nitrogen at selected sites across NSW• provide high quality, long term, statistically robust data to enable river condition and trend reporting• provide data to enable measures of compliance with state and national guidelines and standards, and• provide a framework of state-wide river water quality monitoring across NSW upon which other programs can buildFor more information please see State Water Quality Assessment and Monitoring Project (SWAMP) | Dataset | SEED
